Fonds de conservation Daniel-Joanisse

Retired forestry technician and recipient of the Quebec Forestry Merit Award (1989), he has been active in forest and wildlife management since 1981. Over forty-five years, he planted more than 100,000 trees and secured permanent protection for three nature reserves totaling 85 hectares in the Outaouais region.

Building on this commitment, he founded a Conservation Fund dedicated to the long-term protection and management of protected areas, nature reserves, forests, and wildlife habitats in the Gatineau region.
