‘’Since the COVID-19 pandemic was declared, charities and NPOs have been working hard in their communities to provide emergency support, especially to individuals and groups whose vulnerability has increased.’’ Marie-Eve Bertrand, vice-president of the founding committee of Outaouais Philanthropy.
Charities and NPOs are pillars in their communities, which they tirelessly strive to serve.
‘’The funding had the effect of giving us some oxygen, because our Maison Oxygène really needed it!’’ Marie-Ève Bisson, project coordinator and of Maison Oxygène Outaouais.
We know the funding needs are still present and we continue to advocate for greater support for the recovery and stabilization of the charitable sector.
